Family Research Council leader's home destroyed by a flood

Tony Perkins, head of the Family Research Council (FRC) - widely considered to be a hardline christian anti-gay hate group - has been left homeless after a flood "of biblical proportions" destroyed his house in Greenwell Springs, just outside Baton Rouge LA this week. He had to leave the area in a canoe, and expects to live in a camper van with his family for the next six months as a result.

This happened as part of the ongoing severe flooding happening in Louisiana.

Back in 1998 Tony's good friend Pat Robertson, a christian TV talk show host, said that floods, forest fires and other natural disasters happened due to homosexuality being accepted, the specific example he used was gay tourists being encouraged to visit Disneyland, FL.
