Hi, alright so this is probably a ridiculous question with an obvious answer but I was wondering what the story is with joining societies as a second/third/etc. year student. Last year as a Fresher, i obviously joined the societies that I wished to join while they had a stand in the fresher's tent. That was grand. Now, this year however, do people as 2nd years etc. usually just turn up at the first event of a society to join or do they also join in the fresher's tent?
