Hi there! I just have a quick question. Is it possible to get other channels on TV Star T1010, such as BBC Olympics?

So you already have some UK channels on it?

Sadly not, I only have the main eight channels + oireachtas. I'm not sure how to tune in the UK channels on the T1010.

You'd need to be within range of a UK terrestrial transmitter, & have the right kind of receiving aerial.

What part of the country are you in?

I'm in Co. Tipperary. See, I have a downstairs TV and an upstairs one. The T1010 is the upstairs one. The downstairs one is a different box but has all the channels (+UK, etc...). Also, is there a way to sort channels alphabetically? I'd imagine that if my downstairs TV can have it, that my upstairs would too. My downstairs TV is a xoro hrc 9000

The Xoro box has a satellite tuner, the T1010 doesn't, & you're not going to get UK terrestrial in Tipperary.

If you want UK channels on the upstairs TV, you'll need a satellite tuner there too, & that means another box, unless the TV itself has a satellite tuner built in: what's the make & model?

I'd be pretty sure that TV (an old CRT type?) doesn't have a satellite tuner, so if you want UK channels upstairs, it's a case of adding a satellite receiver (& feed from the dish) or, replacing the T1010 with a combi satellite/terrestrial receiver like the Xoro. Or a new TV with both types of tuner.

Alright, thank you! Can you recommend any TVs that would be able to receive them?
