I'm a mechanical engineer, I've been working with a company in the life sciences area for nearly 3 years. I'm considering returning to college to study a masters in biomedical engineering (most likely NUIG).

Is this a worthwhile investment? Would I be better served to try jump directly from my current position to the biomedical area?

Does anyone have experience of the Biomedical masters program in NUIG?
