Hiring separate tradesmen within HRI scheme

The minimum cost to qualify for the HRI scheme is €5,000.

I am planning to hire separately a contractor, a plumber, a kitchen fitter and a fireplace installer.

Does the cost of each of these individually all have to exceed €5000 or can I sum the costs of them even though they are provided by different parties?

Individually, only the contractor will exceed €5,000, so if I can’t sum them I should ask the contractor to hire these people himself and bill me one amount.

Answering my own question here, but could be useful for anyone who is wondering ;-)

Different tradesmen's fees can be summed. You just need to record the amounts on the revenues website, and then you can claim when you go above the limit.

It just makes it easier for you to record them if you get it through one tradesman.
