    Hi,
I have a cheesecake recipe that calls for butternut snap biscuits. They are Australian, so has anyone ever eaten one and could tell me what Irish biscuit they would be most similar to??
Trying to avoid having to make them!
    Thanks

I googled them, and if it was me I'd use Hobnobs instead, although the buttersnap cookies seem to have coconut in them. You could also use Digestives.

Thanks. I was trying to think if any biscuits had coconut in them but I think I'll just have to go with trusty digestives. Hobnobs sound like a delicious idea anyway, deffo try that again.

What about Jacobs Polo Biscuits or Nice Biscuits? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nice_biscuit

I have used those in cheescake bases and they work really well.
