Turning off firewall

    Would there be any problems turning off my routers firewall if the only devices connected are a PS4 and mobile phones?

    Not a great idea. Or even a good one.

    Are you having connectivity issues with PS4?

    Because my PS4 is connected via Ethernet cable and I'm getting speeds of around 60-80mbs, but when I play online my game is laggy.

    In those scenarios its likely lag due to busy transit or servers in the US/Austria/Germany. Its certainly not the firewall.

    Buy a PC, they have dedicated servers, you can then pick one in Ireland or the UK. These are usually fairly hefty machines on a rack in a datacentre with plenty of bandwidth to the internet.
    As opposed to console games hosted on some kids console in his bedroom connected by weak wireless on a residential connection with someone in the next room watching Netflix and Snapchatting. Turning off your firewall will not fix this

    ^ PS4 and XBone are mostly dedicated servers, they learned their lessons from the last gen. And PC isnt without its problems, Valve removed CSGO official servers from london :(
