Bluetooth crackling in citroen c5

Hi, I have recently purchased a 2011 citroen c5 privately. I realised, when i had the car set up, that when a call comes through over the bluetooth it is crackly and very hard to hear. Have tried several other phones so im sure its an issue with the car? Any ideas?
