Null and void or become a single?

Hi, I bet a double but noticed layerr that 1 event was completed before I bet. The event odds were on the screen in the bookies, they took the bet. Will bet be cancelled or become a single on the event that's in the future? Or a y chance they wont notice? I presume not... Thanks.
