Have a gsm switch to remotely switch on or off the mains fencer, it used to send a text to confirm the fencer status , that text has stoped coming, the unit still switches the fencer on and off, we just dont get confirmation. Have a 3 sim card in it. What might be the problem? Ti.a

Just to follow up, its a meteor sim, put €10 on it, all fine and dandy, thanks for the help. I've been all over the meteor site, but can't figure how the charges for this works - I'm not using data, or making calls with the sim, it sends a text to say the appliance is on or off -thats it- so how long will my tenner last?

Could be up to 12c per txt it sends to your phone. Depends on who your mobile is with and the Sim plan.

Thinking of getting one of these. The text message sounds like a handy thing to have which unit are you using and where did you get it?

If it's still clicking there is a soldered in fuse inside. Only found that out when I overloaded it with ropelight.
