New tablet to replace ipad mini

Im just sick of my ipad mini now - the internet browsing is pretty much worthless on it due to so often crashing - its since one of the OS updates (shortly after I bought it!). So many websites are just impossible to use on it. Dont think I can go with Apple again given the frustration of it but I do love the size of it.…

So whats a good replacement - I use it for email, internet browsing, as an ebook reader and for storing/minor editing to photographs.
