Hi im a mature student with a background in business, law and accounting.

Im considering doing a masters in digital marketing with the goal of establishing a career in this area.

My question is what is it actually like to work in digital marketing?

Some jobs ive seen advertised seem to entail using photoshop to create marketing campaigns. To me that sounds like graphic design more than digital marketing.

Can anyone with experience working in digital marketing provide some guidance as to what a typical working day in digital marketing entails?

Can you also include some guidance on what the working hours and realistic salary expectations?

    Many thanks

Several of the recruitment agencies / job sites produce salary surveys which can give you a guideline on what range of salary you can expect.
Bear in mind that "digital marketing" is quite broad and that you'll get paid a lot more as the "director" in a big company or agency than you would in an entry level role.
