My best man is flying home from Australia for my wedding. This is obviously a huge deal and means an awful lot to us that he would do that and I would like to get him a gift as a thank you for being my best man and also for making the trip but im stumped for ideas. Has anyone got any suggestions?

I got my best man a nice watch as a present. You could get something personalised depending how much time you have

Make time to spend time with him. He obviously cares about you. Buy him a few drinks, let him know you enjoy spending time with him.
I think paying for his room would be a nice gesture without needing to go too far on the present front.

No tankards. No personalised cuff links. No best man socks. No cheesy jumping or carrying the bride length ways posed photos. Pay for all his wedding related expenses.

    Cost of his flight?

    Personalised bottle of whiskey https://shop.jamesonwhiskey.com/products/jameson-distillery-reserve-personalised
Seen as he's flying from Australia, not sure if he's brining a partner but you could put the 2 of them up for 2 nights in the Europe or Inchadoney or something like that.

I'd avoid watches, what one man might consider nice another might not wear, like buying a woman new shoes or a dress, avoid.

I got my brother an Apple TV, but that was because i knew at the time he was hankering after one. I also (obviously) paid for his bed/board/suit/etc.

I also like the idea of a watch or something like that. Something personalised but usable...

They probably have a full holiday planned for the trip home, they might not have time to squeeze in a mini break.

I think a watch is a lovely gift personally
