I have an interview coming up for a college course I want to do. I know I qualify for btea. What's the process. Do I go to intreo officer and apply for btea now or wait till I'm on the course while still claiming ja and then apply for btea . Thanks. Also does the intreo officer help with registration fees. Via a tesg grant. The fee is e150. Thanks.

You must be accepted onto your chosen course before you can apply for BTEA. You must also apply before the course starts. So wait and see if you get accepted, then once you have officially registered you should apply, your intreo officer will assist.

Hi Yellowlead, have been accepted on course, but the BTEA Intreo officer went on their holidays after I sent in my BTEA claim. The person in question returns the day my course is due to start. I have level 8 and I am applying for a Hdip, Suggestions?

    Cheers in advance,

    SS
