Hi, as title suggest, potentially relocating to Sydney for as part of a work opportunity. Would be working near Sydney Olympic Park / Newington but looking for recommendations on an area to live.

Requirements in order would be (1) easy access to work and downtown Sydney, (2) well served with selection of bars and restaurants and (3) good local amenities.

Would appreciate any steers!

Sydney Olympic Park is near enough Strathfield and Paramatta. Strathfield being is closer to the city.

The Inner West isn't far or difficult to get to Olympic Park by train either. More action going on in the Inner West too.

There is also massive amounts of medium/high rise housing in Olympic Park now with more apartment blocks being constructed all the time so finding a place to live in Olympic Park close to work could be an option.
