Was in getting new tyre today. And they told me my back ones were worn. But I also spotted the state of my front one. Thread is fine but should I be concerned about the wall?

I'm a bit confused, are you changing all 4 tyres or just changing the back or front two?

Tyres are your only contact with the road, if they are advising they need replacing you should replace them.

So long story short, you need 4 new tyres.

Cracked sidewalls mean the rubber has perished, change them.
