I have booked flights to Thailand for Nov 30 until December 13th. No accommodation yet.

I plan on staying in the south, Phuket, phi phi and krabi and maybe one or two other places. I really like all inclusive hotels (4/5 star) but there doesn't seem to be much on offer. What is better in Thailand, all Inc or not?

Hi, A lot of the hotels go Bed & Breakfast, All in in not something that they seem to offer, Because there are just so many good restaurants outside of hotels and resorts . Phuket , Phi Phi and Krabi , This is my route for the past for holidays , So many great places to eat at, Standards of hotels for great value . Enjoy

if youre going the whole way to thailand, do not go somewhere where you dont have to even leave the grounds of where your staying - getting out and eating/drinking in the restaurants/towns is far better!

If you are staying in a good hotel they will have buffet breakfast which in my experience is normally very good.

All inclusive is not a thing in Thailand, except for Chinese/Russian tour groups. And you don't want to be staying where they're staying because the breakfast buffet will be cleaned out by 6.15 (just after they've woken you up slamming doors). :D

The top 5 star hotels will have 3 or 4 restaurants on site if that's your thing but, as the others have said, you should get out and enjoy the local restaurants. The standard is amazing.
