    ....I need your help!
I need to get my hands on a decent metal detector for a few hours.
My son lost his* phone in a patch of long grass.
Would really like to get it back.
It hasn't been re-activated as I have it synched in with my Google stuff so am pretty sure it is still where he dropped it.
Anyone know somewhere where I can rent one?

    TIA

*Its really my phone which I used my upgrade to get him while I kept my 'everyday it gets slower and battery dies quicker' HTC 5 months ago.

There's an Irish metal detecting forum, perhaps they have someone local who could help.

A lot of hire places do them. I had a similar problem with a set of car keys a few years ago.
