Renovations - Cost Breakdown

    Hey guys,

My partner and I have just gone sale agreed on a property in Rathfarnham but it's a house that needs real TLC. According to our engineer's report, new windows, insulation pretty much everywhere and rewiring. As we're on a budget we plan on doing it direct labour.

Single quotes for windows, single quote for rewiring and a single quote for insulation and dry lining.

I understand that I can get the windows replaced at any time as they install and make good the surrounding area. My question is mainly towards the dry lining and rewiring. I take it that I'll get the electrician in for the first fix, then the dry lining and then the second fix? Is there anything that I could do to cut the costs down as I'm on a real tight budget?

Also, is there any good website that will break down these prices? Cost for dry lining? Cost for insulation?

Thanks in advance for your help

Before you get dry lining done check out all your options... is it for insulation or to cover up damp ??
I'm not the expert on these things though...
