    Hi,

    I have been interested in the stock market for the past few years.
    I want to open an online discount brokerage account.

    What do people recommend?
    Are there any country specific reasons for your choice?

    I want to invest in a few different currencies and stocks.

    I am also interested in this, was reading about Derigo not sure if that is the correct spelling, I think it is a dutch company.
    I would be interested in opening am account with an irish company but I know that the fees and charges would be higher. Anyne with more information on this regarding irish firms and the fees and charges

    DeGiro is Dutch but they also operate in Ireland as degiro.ie. I've been using them for almost a year.
