    Hi there,

I'm having a nightmare trying to find a roofer to do this job. I'm missing 3 tiles in different places and the job is so small that they promise to come back but after realising how hard it is to find three of these tiles is they don't come back.

There are loads of tiles on done deal but I don't know if they are right. Can anyone tell me the name of these tiles and where I could find a few?

    Thanks

You could try Roadstone retail off the Belgard Rd.
Either bring up a sample one or possibly mail them the pic and try it that way. I got a few there (diff type) for about a quid each.

I helped a friend source new tiles for an extension, to match old tiles on an existing roof a few years ago. We used these guys:

Might be worth dropping them an email with a few pics and see what they have?

You need to remove a tile on the back of them the manufacturer will be stamped on them.
From a distance they look like condron roof tiles
( Condron concrete works tullamore )

As Robbie said a tile will have to be removed and brought around to a few building reclaimation yards.
There's so many of that type of pan tile bothe enghlish and Irish manufacturers a pic won't do.
In fairness it looks an unusual pan tile is the over lap flat on top or is it just the way the pic came out. In fairness to the roofers for three tiles to replace isn't the problem id imagine it's justifying the wages of hours/days spent scouring the country's yards looking for that tile is why they shy away from it.
Worst case scenario would be take some tiles of the back put them on the front, replace the missing ones with lead formed to the profile of the tile. Remove an extra tile and do the leg work your self. Or ask a few neighbours they might have a few spare lying around the back of a shed or somewhere if an extension was built on or roof window/velux fitted.
