Question about maternity benefit

In April of this year, I took a sabbatical from my full time job and in July, I went self-employed. I've just found out that I am pregnant and now wondering about maternity benefit. Will I qualify? Is the application different to when I was an employee?

hi,

There is a self employed section on the maternity benefit application form. (so I presume you can claim) Have a look.
