    Hi
Looking for some advice I am in the process of buying a site( bank sale so they have no interest in dealing with any issues the deal is compete we are in the planning stage). The site is bordered by six houses one of the houses has built a shed using the boundary wall as the end wall of there shed. They have removed top layer of blocks from the boundary wall and their guttering and down pipes are now in my site and also draining on to the site. They have also cut to ventilation grids in the boundary wall. This has all happened in the last two weeks on holidays so only checked to make sure the planning notice was still there. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Regards
    P

They need the permission of the landowner to overhang and drain into that property so should be a further information request re same on the planning application. In practice I can live with an overhang and using a boundary wall as the garage side wall but not draining into the property. They need to add gutters and drain it to their property, a simple enough fix.

I see this differently to AB.
The starting point is does it have planning and if so what did planning say?

If no planning required then this might help

Re the vents, they need to be blocked up because by leaving them there they are infringing on your constitution right to free, unfettered and unencumbered use of the wall, from your side.

Like wise with the over hang, I don't tolerate them anymore for the same reasons.
    Parapet wall, end of.

Yep, well within your rights to do as per above advice. While I'm advocating from a getting on with your neighbour angle, he didn't have the courtesy to inform re his intentions, he ploughed ahead with it regardless.

Thanks for the replys and advice. The shed has no planning so will call to the neighbour and tell him to remove his hand work.
