    I'm going to try and use this but not sure if the accommodation is under 100km from Dublin. It is as the crow flies but might not be depending on the route they choose!

    Where do you enter the code? The faq's are feck all use

    There are a few things to know about using coupons:

    Only one coupon can be used for a reservation.
    If your coupon has expired, there is no way to re-activate it.
    Coupons can only be used once. If you cancel a reservation that used a coupon, the coupon is also no longer valid.

    Can I go as far as starting a reservation to see if it'll accept the code and if the code isn't working can cancel it without the poor airbnb host knowing?

    Yes, see pics below. (When you select 'Instant Book' you're not actually booking a place, only after you enter your payment details, and then request to book is it final)
