Squeaky Floorboards under carpet

We have some seriously squeaky floorboards under our carpets. Ideally they should have been sorted before the carpets went down but hindsight etc... Ideally they should have been sorted before the carpets went down but hindsight etc...

Anyway, I came across a fix online:

I have the very set, no need for a carpenter, you could do it yourself. I bought them after seeing the very same video, and they work a treat:

It worked for me; the hardest part was finding the joists, but once I did, it was plain sailing after that. Now I can get in and out of the babys room like a ninja
