I’m looking to purchase a new laptop. I don’t have any major requirements, just using it for general Office use plus streaming / watching movies. I’m swayed by the price tag in the end of the day but would be willing to stretch for a worthwhile purchase. I would appreciate your expert opinion on the following laptops:

    1. Dell Inspiron 13 5000 Series 2-in-1 - €799

    or

    3. HP Pavilion 15-au078sa 15.6" Laptop - €629

The top one is the best balance, the middle one is a lovely laptop and extremely sleek but it's a huge premium, the bottom one is fine from a spec point of view but has a low resolution screen despite being a bigger laptop which is a bad mix. The top one would last the best part of a decade for the uses you've described.

Thanks very much, I thought as much but wasn't sure. I'll go with No. 1.
