Noisy Powakaddy Freeway

    Hi All
I’ve had a Powakaddy Freeway for 10 years and it’s served me very well.

However, of late it’s developed a rather loud squeaking noise when in motion and I wondered if any of you might have experienced the same and if you did, how you managed to sort it.
My theory is that the axle when it’s rotating is brushing against the underside of the “battery tray”.

When I freewheel it it doesn’t make a sound. And if I apply power but lift the back wheels off the ground, the axle spins away and it’s quiet then too. But when I use it normally with power going to the battery it sounds like a duck shoot at Downton Abbey.

    Anyone any ideas?
    Thanks a mill
