Redoing an outside concrete step. How to remove the huge cold bridge

I have 3 concrete steps outside. Front, back and patio doors. They are too high so I am planning on having them made into a two-step step.
However as they are up against the house they create a cold bridge at each door. In winter the tiles at the patio door can have condensation on them.
Is there a suitable way of putting a barrier between the steps and the house to reduce or remove the cold bridge ?

    Any pictures please?
what do you mean by too high?

The answer is yes but pics would help as there are building regs to consider

They are 9 inches in height. I would like to make it into 2 steps and tackle the cold bridge if I can.

    I'll get some pics

Ok, reread your first post again and see the 3 steps are for 3 different doors. Doh!

Yes still doable, you just put something a thin piece of foundation grade EPS or similar between steps and house.
If the tiles are out front a lot of the patio door threshold then the new steps may not solve it

Just getting back to this now. The attached pic is the back door. Same steps at both front and patio doors, although the patio step is under the decking at present which is to be replaced with a stone patio area . I hope to get that step tackled whenever that's being done.
