Song Title

I need help to find an instrumental track played by a violin that I heard in Madigans Pub on O' Connell Street in Dublin just the other day. I want the song title because a friend of mine would like to learn to play it and I'm not that good at humming it. It's a slow one that seems very Dublin and it sounds kind of similar to the theme tune that Fair City used for about ten years from the mid 1990s until around the mid 2000s. I know this isn't much to go on, but I'm not having any luck so far. A violin is the only instrument used if that helps some bit.

Well thank you so much, that's it. I thought I was very vague with it. I was actually searching under John Sheahan videos to see would find him playing it and I was having no luck. Thanks again!

I think John Sheahan actually wrote the tune, pure magic anyway.
