Simply Electronics--- OUCH

    Anyone else get stung by Simply Electronics?
    I ordered a Canon 5dsr in June (€2759.95) and now the company is gone into liquidation.
    I had been following up my order every couple of days only to be told my order will be moved up to priority shipment and will be dispatched next week.
    I have ordered a few times from them and was aware of slow deliveries so i was'nt too concerned.
    But then i got a letter to say the company was winding up and that i could attend a meeting in Hong Kong on the 8th August.
    I have been onto my bank and filled in forms for a claim back.
    Im sure lots of people have been affected by this, anyone else form Boards?

    See if your bank can do a charge back on your card or cancel the transaction.

    Not surprised their in liquidation, they have had nothing but problems from the get go. Unfortunate for the no doubt many customers who ordered and are waiting on items. Hope you get your money back!

    Only seeing this now. Ordered from them many times and always had the items within 10 days.
