    Strange to be doing it now, I really liked the first one. It would have to be a different director as Synder is doing Justice League.

    Snyder must be run out of town after Justice League. The longer he's there DCEU will become the 'transformers' of comic book superhero films.

    By 'active development' they just mean they're planning on doing it and looking into possible story ideas etc. It'll be a while before they actually start making it, and likely a 2018-19 release.

    Just keep Snyder and Goyer away from it at all costs regardless.

    It would be cool to see someone else take this on. Aul Zack needs to take a step back. Although, I have enjoyed what he has done with MoS and BvS.. I hope Ben Affleck's influence will push JL in a better direction.

    Snyder is everything wrong with DC's shared universe ambitions. He's not a good filmmaker. Say what you want about Marvel but at least they've had a fair few different people try various things with their franchises.
