Dropping off altogether? Could be a lot of things like does it have a quick hitch? If it does the ram that locks onto the bucket might be the problem. Could be a hydraulic problem. Is there a damaged pipe leaking.

If no external leaks then either the hydraulic cylinder is leaking internally or the valve is leaking internally.

Its the tilting ram for the big bucket. Not the one in the quick attachment.
