future career in law enforcement

Hello, I'm an Irish teen considering my options for a future career and I'm thinking about becoming a police officer. I do have a few questions though..

What's it like being a Garda? What's the daily life like? What are the hours like? What's the training like?

Will the wages for a Garda ever improve?
I know they are very low, somewhere around €27,000 a year. If they improve, by how much exactly?

What's the application process for becoming a Garda like?

Would I be better off moving to another country to pursue a career in law enforcement, if so, any suggestions?

    Thanks 😊

I had my heart set on joining the Gardai when I was in Secondary School and I ended up in the military.

Things dont always go to plan but that doesnt mean its a bad thing.

Hi I'm thinking about my options for the future and I'm considering joining the Gardaí..I have almost fluent Irish, And I have experience as a volunteer with an English immersion course for Spanish students. I have a few questions..

Is the €23,000 a year wage a wage that you can live on?
What's the training like and how intense is it?
Are the resources and equipment really as poor as I've heard?
What are my chances of being accepted when I'm older?
How do you deal with the disrespect given?
    What's the daily life like?

    Thanks
