Anyone got any suggestions for somewhere near D15 which will have minimal light pollution at night for a spot of perseid watching. Was thinking the phoenix park, but reckon that'll have too much light around.

Try the astronomy and space forum, someone there might be organising a watch.

There's quite often a group gathering at the papal cross in Phoenix park for sky watching events. Not ideal though as there's still plenty of light pollution. Check with Dunsink as well there may be something on there www.dias.ie .
