Recently got Sky and installer disconnected my Freesat cabal from dish and didn't reconnect and now there's no space for it. What can I do to get Freesat back?

Sounds like a cowboy you got, did you not question why he messed up your existing Freesat connection? I'd report him to Sky, why did you let him get away with making the shortcut?

    Options...
If your dish has more connections on the LNB you could run another cable(s) to the dish for the Freesat box.
If your dish doesn't have more connections you need to get either a new dish which comes with 4 or 8 LNB inputs or else buy a 4/8 LNB and connect it to your existing dish. If it was me I would go with a new dish unless the one you have is very new.

Thanks. Didn't realise it until he'd left. Will get onto Sky and see what they see. Will have to get a new LNB at least so will try get Sky to pay for that/install!

Did you get SkyQ installed, if so they have installed the new type of LNB for this setup which is not compatible with Freesat or other sat receivers.

There is a hybrid LNB available for this type of setup which the installer should have installed if you had requested to keep Freesat. The hybrid LNB has 2 outputs for the SkyQ receiver and 4 for other types of satellite receiver including Freesat. It is only available from Sky.

If it is SkyQ contact Sky and explain they disabled your other satellite receiver and want it rectified.
