iPod 6th Generation - won't play music offline..?

    My iPod 6th Generation won't play music offline.

    When I got it two weeks ago, I simple copied the music on my computer (on iTunes) that has been playing perfectly on my iPhone for the last four years.

    Today just happened to be the first time that I tried to play music outside of my home or the gym, two locations where it is connected to wifi automatically.

    How can I fix this?
