Upgrading Central Heating to Solar, Condenser Boiler & Zones

    Hi Guys,

We've gone sale agreed on an old 2 bed end of terrace house in Kimmage and while we wait to close I'm trying to get an idea of the best routes to go on any work that needs to be done.

It has an old gas boiler that will need replacing and while I'm at it I like the idea of adding some solar tubes to the rear on the south face of the roof.

I'd just like some general advice as I start exploring this route:

Can anyone recommend a configuration of Solar + Boiler + Heating controls? (e.g. is a condenser boiler best in this situation? adding zoned heating worth it etc...?)

Are there any particularly good systems/companies?

Are there any resources with unbiased advice on what is best for a particular situation?

Really, just any advice in this area would be really useful.

    Thanks!
