    I am currently building a house and I just I just received a bill for 5,500 euro to connect to water mains outside my gate can you please justify the cost?

    Thank you for getting in touch.

    Irish Water's current charges for water and wastewater service connections are the equivalent of the water and wastewater portion of the Development Levies and Connection Fees that were previously included by Local Authorities in their levies/fees structures up until 31 December 2013. Please contact your Local Authority for information on service connection charges.
