Cant be done as a flash all the B and A series ECUs did not have flash.

There are a number of options

    Converting OBD1 ecu to a map-able ECU

Requires soldering and a conversion harness.
There are people in Ireland who can get you the harness and ECU

    1. OBd1 honda ecu with chip (old school)

Burning Eprom chips and just not worth it anymore.
Works out more expensive as tech moved on.

    2. OBD1 ecu with neptune Which is a Chip and emulator based on #1

    3. Hondata do a similar

    Standanone Plug and play
    Compete ECU replacing factory ECU

    -Power FC
    -Link ECU

I have been down this road, If you are putting an ECU in the car make sure you have a something to justify it like major work being planned otherwise you will put 1k in for 10hp

I had 2k worth of supercharger and ECU injectors ect ready to go before my car was stolen.

I couldn't put them on as my insurance company hated me. I was 29 at the time with 4 years NCB and could not get insurance if i went ahead.

This will end up in you destroying an engine, so have a spare B Series sitting there ready to drop in too.

And then find the extra €400 to get it professionally done on a rolling road.

I'm all for lads learning but this isn't changing a set of pads. If you need to ask the question on the internet as to what software is required, you don't know what you're doing.

Engines don't blow up by themselves they need a little help.

Rolling road mapping is highly recommended as its not something you can do yourself without specialist knowledge.

Yeah, not too important to get them right.

Slightly easier than mapping a B Series Honda with no knowledge!
