    Hi,

Currently in Koh Samui. Sun cream is just about to run out and I'm looking to purchase SPF 30. I went to a pharmacie (I'm in Bophut) and they have Nivea 30. Thing is, it only says UVA 1. Am I right to assume this is not good?

Pretty sure UVA 1 extends coverage or is coverage against stronger rays.

Ok wasn't sure. Thought I should be looking out for UVA/UVB and was under the assumption that UVA protected against skin ageing whereas UVB protected against redness/sunburn.

Well, the bleach in it will keep you white anyway!

What's it like there at the moment? We fly in tomorrow morning. Currently in Bangkok and have had a few showers.

The weather is amazing. Don't mind weather forecasts (as I did before we arrived). It tends to be a bit cloudy late in the afternoon each day but to be honest, it's a relief (plus don't be fooled by the cloudy weather - as many pool loungers have been - same amount of sun is still getting through - many red bodies walking around in the evening).

Also, if a storm comes, it arrives fast and leaves just as fast. Enjoy your holiday!
