Backup Electric shower

This is similar to a thread that was on here before but not exactly.

We are getting an air to water system in our new build and having 3 showers in the house. There is the question of having one electric shower in case the a2w fails for some reason. I wouldn't like to have 2 a2w and 1 electric, as I would like the option of using a2w in every shower as it should be the more efficient source.

Do people ever use 2 shower types in one cubicle? Is it common, and does it look ridiculous?

Has anyone experience of people doing this?

Lot's of people have 2 showers in the one shower cubicle. It makes a lot of practical sense. As for how it looks, it depends on how its done and what type of showers you use. Two plastic boxes will look cluttered. You might not even notice a bar mixer or a dial on one side and an electric shower on the other. If you choose the right type of shower door that opens the right way the electric shower can be quite hidden behind it. Most electric shower comes in a satin version, not my cup of tea but some people prefer them and you can expect to pay up to 100 Euro extra just for the colour.
If you are getting a pumped electric shower Mira and Triton do quiet versions. Triton T90sr being the quieter of the two.
