Freesat box (ch36 RF output)and Saorview aerial. Can't get them to work together properly, is there a signal interference issue?

    Thanks. P

No Freesat box has an RF out so I assume it's a FTA sat receiver of some sort. Is it a combi sat/Saorview box? Describe the setup.

As it is located in the attic, Vu+ solo2 ( with Vu Tubo digital tuner) goes through a triax link box which only has RF output set to channel 36 then on to a decent 4way power pass amp and on to the 3 linked TVs. One of these is a saorview smart tv which I want to get the DT signal to for alternative channel viewing. When add in a direct feed from powered indoor aerial at the amp input via either an RF or sat/rf combiner unit, it all goes pear shaped!!

    Thanks

Sorted: Changed all connectors/combiners to RF type and triax box to ch42 output. DT aerial split to a) amp and b) DVB tuner... all signals now working perfectly!!

Sorry, the other one was more complicated with guff about the set up. My question here was simply about whether channel interference would/could be an issue. I was starting to get lost (real ham) so decided to get back to the basics and work it out one step at a time. Thanks all for the input.

As an aside, I think I dicovered that powering down/up the amp gace a different result in the various configurations I tried. S I just kept doing it after oevery mod/change.
