I was CJC999 and then someone pointed out that 999 is 666 upside down and I got scared so changed it to the phonetical spelling of CJC.

I availed of the Boards.ie hack back in 2010 or whenever it was to reinvent myself, was originally a member since 2000/2001, and all my vendettas got lost with it.

Vowed to become a model member and only post in the likes of Cycling and Athletics. Wasn't long before I got sucked right back in again and have a whole load of new ones. It might be worth going back to my previous user ID again at this rate.

I used to have a human name as my boards ID. I then changed it to Lumen.

The problem is that this left all the posts in which I was quoted with the original name in them.

So during my brief reign of terror as a cycling mod I "exercised" my newfound power to edit every post I had ever been quoted in.

My original user name was Beasty. Then, when I changed it to Oscar Gateaux, El Tonto nipped in and changed his username to Beasty, meaning I can never change it back. Then I changed my name to Jep. It wasn't as confusing as it sounds. In fact, I don't think most people even noticed.
