    Hi Guys
I'm looking at getting into Leather Craft would anybody have any recommendations for an all rounder who could supply everything I need to get going that won't break the bank?
    Thanks.

Sorry I don't have any recommendations for you but I would like to wish you well. Ireland kills a lot of cattle for meat, I'm surprised we don't have a leather industry for shoes, bags, clothing (leather jackets, skirts, etc). Leather crafting would be a great thing to get into. I was looking online at an American site at getting a leather skirt custom made for a few years now but I don't have the funds then other charges like shipping and customs will add to that.

Looked into this a while back and it seems to be a pretty small niche hobby in Ireland and the UK so not a lot of suppliers around. Tandy Leather is probably your best bet for beginner kit. They're based in the US where the hobby is huge but they do have a UK/Europe distribution site. They do flat rate postage which is a bit of a pain in the arse but if you order a good few items at a time it offsets it a bit.
Le Prevo Leather is another UK supplier that I've seen highly recommended but I've never used them myself. There's a leather merchant in Inchicore in Dublin but I dont know much about them or what kind of stuff they carry, maybe someone else can give you more info on them. You could also try signing up to leatherworker.net and asking around, they've got some active forums and members are pretty helpful.

I have bought from Le Prevo and was happy with the service and quality. They do have a flat postage rate (it was £18 when I ordered) which is a lot if you are just buying small amounts, but is good value if you are buying a lot of leather.
