    There is nothing wrong in informing about a new version as long as you can switch off the notifications permanently and you're not forced to do the upgrade. As far as I know Canonical is not forcing anyone to "upgrade or your service will be suspended" ;-)

    I wasn't really complaining (hence the ;) in the title of the thread).

    It was just a funny coincidence that shortly after the Win10 nag screen stopped that this one showed up. I'd never seen one on Linux before and yes, I know it will respect my desire to say "Stop bugging me."
