Moving Sectors - can a recruitment agency help?

    Hi All,

I am currently working for a not for profit organization working with asylum seekers and I am thinking of moving industries, moving to the private sector. I've enjoyed my work and enjoy working to help people but there's just no room for promotion or further learning. The sector is really difficult to find work in so I'm thinking of changing altogether. However I don't want to go back to college and re-train.

So what I'm asking is if anyone knows of a good recruitment agency who might be able to help me move sectors and help me to sell my experience as something that might be desirable to the private sector?

    Thanks in advance!
    B

I understand that you want to work with different clients. But what work do you actually do with the clients: Nursing? Teaching? Food service? Accommodation management? Advocacy?
