Need help with non verbal autistic child in preschool

Hello,
Just hoping to get some advice to help me this year. I recently got my list for my group of preschoolers and one of the children has been diagnosed with moderate - severe autism and is also non verbal. As it is a creche I am in, I already have a relationship with him, as he will run up to me and give me hugs It will be very different when he is in the preschool room as it is more structured. As I will be in the room alone , I'm hoping to make sure I have a good routine as I will be also getting children which a couple are hard. I would like to get some tips to make this year a little stress free and hoping to progress the child if I can. The age group is 3-4. Also the childs mum would like to start potty training. The child is very smart and can understand with I think selective hearing but cannot communicate and likes to move a lot . so the table time will be hard.
