Jobseekers Benefit/ Paying it Back - Tax Question

    Hi guys

    Long story short

Partner started claiming Jobseekers Benefit at start of June (they would not give her Jobseekers Allowance as I earn too much).

She's now found a full time job and called the Tax Office to submit her employee number - when she called they said that her Jobseekers Allowance was taxable income and now she has a job they would look for the tax on it back and she'd pay it back in small amounts.

Is this true and how much will she pay back?

    Thanks :-)
