    Hi

    I have VU+ Box, triax link, powered UHF saorview aerial, 4 way bypass amp: all in the attic and hardwired to 2 older sets plus a new LG smart TV.

    VU box is on channel 36 and works fine until I add in the UHP aerial via a SAT (bypass)/UHF combiner box. It seems to me that there must be some channel conflict or is it something else?

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

    P

    Are the VU box & Tri-Link in the attic? Presumably not, if you need the sat./UHF combiner to get the aerial feed to them?

    Or what exactly is going on?

    All in the attic with dish and saorview feeds. Combiner is at amp feed input. Each tv has a magic eye.

    You mean the combiner is actually the Tri-Link, taking the AV feed from the VU box, & a Saorview aerial feed?

    Does the VU box have a terrestrial tuner?

    The combiner is after the triax link Yes VU Turbo dvt tuner

    Vu->triax->combiner->amp in->feeds to TV sets.

    I an trying to get saorview signal to one smart tv to allow it to show these channels while another can watch sat tv, if that makes sense!

    Doesn't seem to be an RF-out on that tuner. What I would do is split the aerial feed, with one feed going to the VU tuner, & the other going to the Tri-Link RF-in.

    How is the aerial 'powered' BTW?

    The aerial is an indoor one with its own power supply..direct wired to amp on its own..perfect signal to smart tv only when sat box feed from triax via combiner it all goes pear shaped! Wrong spec combiner?

    aerial and tuner do work perfectly through the solo2 RTENL provider selection!

    Sorted: Changed all connectors/combiners to RF type and triax box to ch42 output. DT aerial split to a) amp and b) DVB tuner... all signals now working perfectly!!

    Isn't it a Triax Tri-Link you're using? With its own RF-in for the aerial feed, & the VU connected via SCART? Why do you need a separate combiner?
