Capital gains shares

I need to sell some ESPP on Etrade to fund a car purchase

I would like to limit my exposure to capital gains as much as possible as all I really need is 3 or 4K and thinking of selling some shares now and some in Late December,

What's the base before capital gains become applicable, equally given the tax year , when next can I sell and safely meet revenue guidance per capital gains

So if I sell the required shares now , do I have to wait till 1 st January till I could sell more and safely be within tolerance

Can anyone recommend any online calculator that would safely navigate me though selling within the threshold

Thanks in advance for everyone's help

The first €1,270 of a gain in a tax year is exempt from CGT.
Any gains over this threshold are subject to CGT at 33%.

As you only plan to sell €3/4k worth of shares, you may end up not paying any capital gains tax unless you're sitting on a rather larger profit.
